A Lim on Sleepless Nights

There was once a grand dame named Sara
maledicted with hyperactive sclera,
but the even heels of fine-treading rain,
laurel leaf tea & lavender from Spain
would cease her state of Chiroptera.

I wanted to personally thank you for the participating in my contest and say congratulations to you on your name being on the winners' list. I like comparing sleeplessness as being a state of Chiroptera who are nocturnal birds/animals. I like the way you approached the topic. Way to go. Sara K

Thanks, Sara. I hope some of the remedies help. I have a laurel leaf tree in my yard. It's just the best. Placing a leaf under your pillow can help with insomnia if you don't care much for tea.
