A Light Example of Everyday In My Life
pardon me,
may i sit here
i have no game
knowing this
i choose to say
nothing
i enjoy a moment
in the company of
true beauty
i wonder if she
would have said yes
if i asked
probably not, for my
looks and my talk do
not match my misleading
presentation
it is nice to imagine though
i bet she is even more beautiful
in love
i guess i had my fill
i hope that she will enjoy
the rest of her day
i am not a poet by any means,
but i think that i just may take
a crack at it
it never hurts to try
and alas, i contradict myself
without even knowing that i did
