A Letter From Jordan

My name is Jordan. I’m now forty-three. This letter is to tell you I’m okay in case from church days you remember me. I took off in my 20’s and I’d stay in little towns where odd jobs I could find. I was a drifter; soon enough I’d leave. Few friends I had, so nobody would mind. And if I died, would anybody grieve? Well, things changed when I met dear Jean, my wife. Just how I got so lucky I don’t know. She helped me find a good job. Now my life is like a dream compared to years ago. My wife is smart and fun, with eyes of green. Our three girls thankfully resemble Jean!

This one tugs at the heart strings, Andrea. I've done some drifting of my own over the years and known a few as well so I can definitely relate to Jordan. Bravo / Write on, Terrell

I am glad Jordan finally showed his existence. I know parents who have not found their kid after 40 years. It's a sad story of them.

Lovely letter though he could have sent it earlier. But who can understand life?
