A Letter
I think I shall write a letter
And give it to my love
In hopes that she will cherish it
And give her something to think of
I would tell her about my dreams
Letting her know she’s my everything
I shall write it in secret
And would bring to her the mystery
About who wrote the words
Surely then when that letter’s read
She would understand
That I’ve sent the love I’ve said
And perhaps I’ll be her man
