A Lesson From My Life

Heed not religious men:
for they are false and fake,
wolves in disguise, in sin,
'gainst God's Laws which they take,
corrupt, and make a burden
to the poor in spirit,
the pure, the lost, children
needing hope and respite
from life--these false prophets
wish to take your power
of choice from the pulpits
and make God's Truth lower.
If you do, you'll know loss:
     rather, look to the Cross.
