A Lesson From Genesis

The Book of Genesis proves a value when

It shows us that man's problems

Come form his desire to know.

If the plant that bore the fruit

                        That caused the rift

                              In the garden

                          Was a tree possessing,

"The knowledge of good and evil,"

Then we have learned that knowing can be a dangerous thing.

However, the males of our tribe

                         Should be pretty grateful.

                          They can always recall

                           That it was the woman

Who introduced the fruit to the man.

Then again, men learn nothing alone.
