A Lady Yet To See:

Movement...but in stillness, Does he who did not see, Upon the lily is darkness, Below her apple tree. Being too still breeds carelessness, As can be thy lover's caress. And visions that lead to blindness, As is forever to see... Two feet to walk, And gaze about, Throwing wonder all out to fade beneath the rising sea. So send honey to me to pull me through, The kind that turns rubies blue, Some sweetness please to soothe my soul, In the shape of a woman who sees my goal, In sitting just beside me, Oh joyous both will be, But only in true equality. /|\

Very beautifully penned poem, Rick. Very beautiful indeed. You are a closet romantic, you sly silver-tongued fox. The imagery was simply gorgeous. "Being too still breeds carelessness ..." a great poetic line. Nicely done my friend. Kudos to you. Love always, from the Romantic Warrior.

Thanks Freddie, I think I read that in your quote! Warrior knows warrior I always say! Not too many old school warriors left these days. This is one of my favourites too... /|\
