A Labrador So Jet Black
Hey I'm a beautiful black labrador
look at my coat so silky smooth
just run your hand across it now
feels like velvet so cool so sooth
I have such a loud clear bark
seeing intruders coming miles away
you'll be protected from every enemy
I'm the one to keep you astay
But at my heart, I'm really soft
love to get cuddles all day long
soft and cuddly being my second name
now that's a title for a sweet song
I love to go walkies in the countryside
throw that ball I'll catch it every time
I even listen intently to your poetry
wag my tail when I hear you rhyme!
(Just imagining If I were a dog, what breed would I be, and why?)
