A Knight

A knight brave
Said goodbye
To family and friends with a wave.
His mother yelled come back to us Dave.
His heart did a flip flop as he nodded to comply.
A knight brave 
Fought to save
His country which some how can't see eye to eye.
To family and friends with a wave
He declared I won't come back to a grave.
Lord he prayed don't let me die.
A knight brave
Said Lord help me pave
A way as you know it's on you I rely.
To family and friends with a wave
He gave 
His word as he shouted with a cry.
A knight brave
To family and friends he did wave.
