A Kiss

To be captured by a moment, 
searching the eyes
In a world never measured,
as it washes away ... to disappear
with soft falling tears of love
Seeking interludes of passion from fingertip caresses,
leaving sounds of burned sighs,
crying out in unison
Time becomes an ocean of waves,
pulling lover's through a realm of dreams,
into tomorrow
Trapped by silk webs of love that enslaves,
searching the eyes
Touching the heart ...  lost in tenderness,
that inhales love's fragrant breath in quiet spaces,
trembling soft ...ever holy
before it abandons its rules
Kissing the mouth ... without restraint

Andrea Dietrich April 30, 2017 at 6:20 PM Oh my gosh, frederick. I cannot believe this poem STILL has not got more than MY comments on it. Good grief. Well, I Have noticed something here. Sometimes our best work gets lost when we post other poems above our work!! I have a few on my page that got only half the reads of others and I know it is not because they were any worse than some of my popular ones. Also, enjoyed listening to you this time. I want to see you one day be DRAMATIC. Anyway, loved that long pause before the last 2 words
