A Kiss

A Kiss has many faces
It depends on why you do it.
It could involve emotions
Or there may be not much to it.

A Kiss can be a greeting
Or a way to bid adieu,
A way to comfort children
Or to say Good Luck to you.

It could be  a light glancing blow;
Meet a friend - it comes in handy,
A way to show a deep respect,
Or a Herseys bite-sized candy.

These are reasons why people Kiss,
There are several more for sure
When folks have fights and arguments
A Kiss can be a cure.

Tender words and gentle Kisses
In a lasting love affair
Is how the folks that are involved
Express the love they share.

So when you’re with someone you love
Take time, don’t be remiss
Put your arms around them
And give a loving Kiss.

I like that bite size candy. After 35 years of marriage, it's hard to get excited about the same old kisses. hahaha. LUv, andrea
