A Kid's Bedtime

I wake dawn! Dreaming of colors, that lull me to sleep. Seeing tears when it rains, and rainbow appears crestfallen. listening to the silent chirping of birds, creating an oblivious lullaby. Slowly, my heart implodes, bringing drought on the throat and an oasis on the pillow. The rain becomes ice, making me crave every night to wake dawn!

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
