I open the book of time once more and again outside snowflakes fall and my world is full of snow a thousand knife's stab my heart forever and ever I see my memories scattering like dust I have been so sad these past days with tears falling for this part of the journey cannot be helped at times my thoughts turn to stone then take flight enraptured with drifting words ... I compose have known defeat, and deep love, beauty and ugliness I have crawled out of the darkness to begin again From my poems ... 1. Tattered Memories, 12/06/2024 2. Constance wishing you comfort and peace for the new year. This Poem of yours had me worried about you but it might be fiction. Hope you are coping and know Jesus loves you and he is there when you need him and we are here too for you. I wrote a tribute to Tom Cunningham I'd you get a chance I wanted you to read it and comment. If your busy there is no rush. Michael, thank you for the visit and comment. I am a poet who writes about my grief, and sorrow. I can make any theme sad, lol. I write a lot of Graveyard Poetry. I carry my sadness like a dark cloak and use those emotions in my poetry. Do not worry about me Michael, I had a nice Christmas with my family and will be looking for a new kitty cat in the new year, Tom truly is wonderful, happy new year ~
