A Hug For a Lifetime
Fate decided it be black and white.
So I resigned to it, living my dreary life.
One day he came, a thief to my house.
I awoke in moonlight, saw him with a bruise.
I know not I was clever or stupid;
I tended his wound and sheltered him.
He left at the first ray of dawn.
I patted the warm place besides me
and cradled the moment that is
to be relived in my mind, throughout time.
I looked into the mirror and smiled, like in ages.
Life for me is, from now, to be so colourful!
