A House Isn'T Always a Home

This house is "His"
when "we" are here.
It's "Mine"
when I'm alone.
The only problem
with this house,.......
It's NEVER been "Our" home.

Sad...but a fact for many. Well written, short but to the point.

Cheryl, These things are always so hard to deal with. I sense the resignation in your short poem. Still, very well said. Jim
