A House Full of Cats

A house full of cats
Poor ventilation
Doctor says I have hair balls

How mysterious
Our Tab has far -away eyes
UGHH! It's flatulence

One cat likes to talk
It's the inflection that counts
Feed me, please....................? FEED ME!!!
        (meeeww) (MEEOOOWWW!)

Not bothered with mice
Nary a bug in the house
The new 'shredded' style

Fell in the eggnog
Hick hickory....up he run
Dick dickory DOCK! tick tock

funny, DAver, and all based on TRUTH, that is what makes it all the more amusing. I love cats but don't think I could have that many, for sure not with asthmatic hubby around. Thanks for your comment on my sonnet today. Iam sure you recognized I changed it from Wild child to Dark POet so I could use an oldie in that contest. WEll, I better do soup later so as not to be LATE to school. Bye, Andrea

As far as verse #2 goes, my dog would clear out a room faster than any cat, and I have 2 cats also. Trust me, there is no comparison. ~lol~ These are too funny. Most of all, I feel like having some eggnog. Makes it much easier to deal with hairballs and the rest. Enjoy! Love, Shar

hahah I love this!! I have a cat, and I can definitely identify with... er... well, all of it! LOL The hairballs... the "feed me please" ... the "shredded style" too, that look is definitely IN at our house. AND OH YES, the *ahem* flatulence that is far worse than any of ours! :P Wonderful write, I really enjoyed it! >^. .^< God bless, Amy :)
