Still, a hint of musk remained behind on the shirt he last wore, a faint reminder of skin pressed up against mine, the essence of sweat & tears that lingers a lifetime

So, pressing my nose in the slowly fading smell of him, the lingering last whiffs of him on my pillow, and the tears that remain, and dry.... in a while. You made me cry there.

So beautifully sad. This really grabs at my heart. It could be a love that has left or even more sad, one that has passed on. Either way, the message, the thought and the scene this creates is gorgeous.
