A Hearty Aroma

A hearty soup's
     aroma
     wafts its way
     over the
     desolation, the
     barren tundra
     where bones
       shatter
       fingers crack
       toes burn

Love soup and PS too... the writers inspire my heart and soul with their pens in so many exquisite colors, painting hues of brilliant lights across the soup's rainbow of joyful noise! Your poem is a blessing to my heart, Gershon. God bless you always

We are on the tundra and this soup makes our day. We had actual soup yesterday made with beef and many vegetables so we would have our Vitamins and protein. Thanks for dropping by my page. This fall has been so full of throat cutting and back stabbing now another set are on their way in to do their damage but the news media will love them. Sara

As long as your bones don't shatter, don't worry about the new media. Their fingers are already cracked! lol. Thanks, Sara.

Your metaphoric write has me picturing a stream of water attempting to revive a desert.
