A Heartfelt Thank You Gift
I have a thank you for you, my friend said.
Let’s call her Terry.
You can have any three you want.
I had no idea what she was popping out of the freezer bag.
It was frozen dinners; we both eat them.
This one’s for you, she said.
And this one.
And this one.
She gave me two spaghettis and a lasagna.
‘Then she closed up the bag; I have no idea what she kept.
We had already discussed that she did not
like the spaghettis or the lasagnas.
So much for choosing.
