A Heart In Flames

A Heart in flames

It’s so hard to come to terms,
fighting the flames of a heart that burns,
bad advice to douse the fire,
Fans and fuels aroused desire.

fragile threads suspend my tears,
belief of our promise of ten times years
sandwiched eyes hold back the cries,
Saying to you your heart is mine.

Deepened footprints tread my soul
paired as peas for strong we grew
to defend our love of passion true,
eternal my days forever with you

 Chorus:
It’s so hard to come to terms,
fragile threads suspend my tears,
deepened footprints tread my soul
eternal days forever with you
