A Haiku Moment

No breeze tonight Trees pose statuesque Flowers icily still Time slows to a stop Grasses stand to attention's call Thought holds on pause Air has that feel of fall

And oh how I love this time of year. You have personified nature here with its knowing of the coming change of season. Brilliant in imagery and all else. I agree with Heidie as I clearly see a painting here. Love, Shar

Oh, Brian, this is awesome - one of your best. Fall is my favorite time of year, and here, right now it is cold - only about 10 C - and I can feel fall in the air, too! This is one for my favorites, so beautifully written, I know this scene well. Love Kristin
