Congratulations on making one of the top best poems list Paul. May I add you to my personal best humans on planet earth as well? I do not think Haiku is short poetry. It takes expertise in languaging It’s an art form that draws on all of our senses in an Artistic window. Panagiota

Never have ten words made me think for so long before. I'm happy to say the time invested was so worth it. This haiku is as brilliant as it is clever. Your choosing and arranging of words in an order that conveys meaning are superb and then there's the pause (-). How can I put this Paul? Your haiku means what it is. :) Cheers - Gary

The deepest haiku core, which emerges from the delicate process of toriawase and the strategic use of caesura, stands out as a favorite due to its unparalleled originality and inherent beauty.
