A Grave Sin

You fell on earth, sinner! you shall meet your demise. No God will pity you, your vessels shall wreck through your body. Agony is your punishment, foe of your happiness. You pious little men hope no more! Poison lingers even after death. For having sinned you shall fade. No God will weep for you. No Man will grieve for you. Lapsing to life was wrong, pathetically cruel was surviving.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Thank you for the warm welcome and for sharing such an uplifting message. My poem is meant to delve into life's challenges and the consequences of our actions, using symbolism to encourage reflection. The use of 'God' was intended to add a sense of gravity and judgment towards sin, purely for the sake of poetic impact. I want to assure you that it was not my intention to offend any religious beliefs; my approach is purely symbolic, and I respect all faiths deeply. I appreciate this exchange and the opportunity to clarify my artistic choices within our diverse community.
