Notes About The Poem

A Gracious Heart

A gracious heart stops upon earth, takes flight
There's a gate swung wide, family inside
Temporary fear erased by light bright
Love radiates as He comes alongside
Love pervades, takes the soul to great heights

Taking flight from this earth, a gracious heart
Beside Jesus learns lessons of the soul
Back to earth now your spirit must depart
Once again on the earth, she knows her role
Knowing life's divine plan, follows its chart

Decades passed, the gracious heart has tried
After the meeting, failures remain
Love was learned, forever does abide
In her life failures, His love she retains 
Soon, the soul will once more depart untied
