Apologies, David. This threw me and whilst I got it, taking it literally, I know you would have meant so much more. I gave it some thought and conjured with politicians, AI, the human condition and then my brain went bang. Alas, I’m off to bed, where I’ll lie awake pondering your words… that’s just me… thanks for that ;-)

Hopefully my words didn’t keep you awake too long Terry, paradoxically they usually put me to sleep lol! The devil is always in the detail! Cheers David

Dear David, this is deeply thought provoking and very soulful, comes from a deep place i can tell, and has a philosophical touch to it too, i was there once upon a moon and i think i can agree with this “ the source of all evil is twisting good” which i think and can grasp as all evil somehow lurks from some place good which seems twisted and comes with a price in this materialistic world where evil seems to roam. Profound! Made me think alot and its a pleasure visiting your page always.

Thank you Ink, I find the Monoku is a wonderful form for putting profoundly deep concepts into an almost scientific-like equation, good and evil may seem like opposite sides of a coin, but once twisted or flipped, they become indistinguishable whilst the coin is in flux, making it almost impossible to know which is which, all we can do is tread a careful path through this life, and heed all/any warning signs along our journey, cheers David

Theology has evolved to shed much of its ignorance, superstition, and cruelty, but not all of it by any means. It's better to rely on our own knowledge reason, and god given intelligence then to hand our minds over to those claiming to own the truth--a key element of the Enlightenment. My best, Robert

Great to hear from you Robert, and I totally agree with your comment, our own common sense goes a long way in this modern world of deceivers and false prophets, unfortunately those that don’t use it, are always their first victims, cheers David

A fallen believer such as the devil one who had known the truth and questioned it, man is not so far off. Are we all devils on a narrow path paved with eggshells? Twisting good~

Heya Anaya, I don’t believe we are all devils, although this one could be construed by the high and mighty that I am a devil for making such observations, I’m certainly not good, and capable of telling lies, but I hope there is truth in these monokus, cheers David

Thank you S1, as an agnostic the so called (truth) must always be questioned, we only have to look at history to see how it has been twisted and manipulated by man, like Dilly, Lin, and Paul said a careful path must be treaded through this life, as good and evil are indeed easily interchangeable, cheers David

Some truisms here...beneath these few words of yours David there are libraries of theological debate, agencies of good and evil interchangeable depending on the team one follows. Cheers, Paul

Absolutely Paul, good and evil are all completely interchangeable, and have been since civilisation began, I won’t get into the theological debate, for fear I’ll drown in the multitude of scriptures and counter-scriptures, thanks for wise comment as always, I hope you are keeping well

The machinations of the devil are hard to resist, even by the most faithful. What seems to be a hand offered as a saving grace is his source of misleading innocents who cannot discern his intention. He's called 'bird catcher, for he knows the bait that will ensnare the weak. I didn't mean to sound like a preacher, but good and evil are often twisted together so tightly that they will fray when pulled apart from temptations of the heart.

Absolutely Lin good and evil are spliced together from both ends of the spectrum, and are manipulated by man for his own ends, which is worse to be good and become evil, or when you become evil pretend to be good, I think that is the crux of my monoku, cheers David

Ahh right, so - the evil recruit the good and the good continue in a kind of pyramid scheme? In the end there's no avoiding it. Then you've got the goodies who aren't really good and it's a whole separate kind of evil. In the end it's the for the self aware to tread a careful path through it all... Miles off I reckon lol

Not bad Dilly, the concept is, good is twisted by man and becomes evil, but then the evil is twisted back into appearing good, so yes basically tread a careful path through it all, such is life I’m afraid, :)

My brain is in a tangle grappling with this one! I'll give it some thought and return with something sensible later :D (no clues please, I can do this! Haha)

Oh don’t worry you’ll get it Dilly, seems everything is in a tangle these days, or at least comes with a twist lol! Thanks for the provisional comment, cheers David
