A Glorious Chorus Comes
He knows your present pain;
Intimate with every sorrow.
Weighed beneath your burdens,
Yet soars beyond tomorrow.
A glorious chorus comes,
Faint not, thy dawn arises.
He feels your present sadness;
He weeps for those now blinded,
His word with candid answers,
Beckons: be reminded…
A glorious chorus comes,
Faint not, thy dawn arises.
He transcends the temporary;
He transports eternal souls.
His provisions are sufficient
Poured upon by heaven’s bowls.
A glorious chorus comes,
Faint not, the dawn arises.
He died though falsely tried.
He hath born our every loss.
By His blood-bought agony,
We freely pass the cross.
A glorious chorus comes,
Faint not, the dawn arises.
He will sing there over you.
He will gather from all time
His bride bedecked will hear
God’s voice through song refined
Oh, a glorious chorus comes,
Faint not, the dawn arises.
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
