A Glimpse

Darkness falls on me
Sometimes I see light
Hope floods me, though
It's gone before night
The darkness falls
I dream of hope
That glimpse of light
The darkness holds me
Oh, so incredibly tight
The darkness falls on me
I squirm and I fight
Only that hope inside
Can make everything right
Though the darkness falls on me
In the dead of the night
 There is that radiant hope
From the glimpse- That I saw
 In the awe-inspiring light

7 again. How incredibly sad life can be for some children.. There was always that hope wasn't there.
