A Glass of Confidence

I can handle this
but I’ll first need a glass of wine
I need to loosen up
gather my strength
wind down

I can handle this
bit of socializing
all this gasbagging
though little painful
I can handle it

Just another glass of wine
I can handle this
keep the refills coming
I sure hope I can handle
another family reunion
