A Girl With No Face

If I never see your face, I write this letter, just in case you happen on it, just by chance, and, looking up, happen to glance in my direction, just for a while, and, maybe, reward me with your smile that I may take it and keep it here, an image that will burn and sear into my heart and into my mind, for life can be so cruel and unkind, and the world will be a colder place, If I never see your face.
