A gilded globe in the night sky,
the moon beams with rays of sunshine.
Luna pines for Sol's golden touch,
and as the sun sets, She rises.
A pale orb, the moon morphs into
a gilded globe in the night sky.
And wild wolves with upturned jaws, howl,
worshiping the Goddess of night.
Ebony, set with diamonds,
forms a starry shroud for the sun.
A gilded globe in the night sky,
the moon’s brighter than all the stars.
And yet, Luna will vanish soon,
a ghostly specter faded white.
But when dusk falls, She'll rise again,
a gilded globe in the night sky.
