A Gift We Must Learn To Accept and Take
There is not one of us,
who doesn't have gifts,
discovered, or yet to be.
These become the hope for all humanity.
Life tests each one of us in different ways.
To see if we can hold onto, and continue to use,
not lose,
the spirit that defines our unique identity.
To lose gifts once received,
is to lose who you were meant to be.
Injustices and unfairness, try to prevent, and block,
intuition and creativity, by allowing anger to foster within.
Anger the force, that seeks release, going within and without.
What can make it go away,
forgiveness the only way.
It is a gift, how to use,
we must receive,
from somewhere else.
The decision to use it,
towards another and ourselves,
we can't afford to be afraid,
or unsure to make.
A gift we must learn to accept and take.
