A Get Together To Remember
at a cousins place,after the funeral we headed home
to feel free at home I started to roam
I bolted one door from inside
through the other went outside
afterwards went up the stairs and pushed to open the door
I pushed and pushed more n more
due to breeze it had got auto locked
out I was blocked
having been locked out
I started to shout
One stone I threw at a window glass
Glass went crashing down,none bothered alas !
At last a man in the neighborhood
came forward , the problem he understood
all were confused
thinking how I could be released
a nephew passed down a coke
fearing the heat or that I may choke
at last a lock opener was brought
till then in sweltering heat I did rot
he broke open a latch
all came forward for a sight to catch
We all heaved a sigh of relief
as the time I was shut out was not brief
for sometime all forgot the grief.
