A Gentle Prevailing Wind

Waiting for a true friend anyone it can be
warmth of morning's first cup of tea in me
and a smile that will brighten your day sure
or I can be your contact lenses for eyes' cure
all these things I offer,now bring your friendship key




True friends are hard to find_needed trait being kind
A listening ear_joy, sorrow share if so inclined
New friends are great but keep the old
New friends are silver; old are the gold
true friendships are like a gentle prevailing wind

I have agreed to collaborate with Susan, but I wish I could do this with you too. It's very interesting you used the term "true friend" I wrote a poem for a friend at Soup today and I used that exact phrase after I saw the wonderful poem he did for me.
