A Gentle Breeze

~ A Gentle Breeze ~
Just a wishin' and a hopin'
    on a frigid Chicago day

I wish there were a gentle breeze
to take away cold winter's sneeze

A giddy wind that twirls about
Come March I hope we'll catch one out

I have lived in Chicago. I barely remember any gentle breezes, harsh ones though. I am glad to read this. Maybe the winds have calmed down.

OK. Do you want me to be Gene Kelly or Donald O'Connor. The latter was an Illinois boy, I think. (There the resemblances end, I'm afraid. lol). Ta - ta. See you on Broadway... Ya, sure. :) gw

We are headed for a cold week (maybe not by Chicago's standards) but I am hoping for warm breezes to come out West too :)

Hello Gershon … we just have to cope with the weather. Next two days; over one hundred degrees here. I hope we get a breeze here to Gershon - Lindsay

Send 25 degrees our way, OK. Then it'll be 55 degrees here. We'll be happy. You'll be happy with 75 degrees. Here's to Happiness, Lindsay! :) gw
