A friendship extended
Phone appointment, attended
A friendship offer, extended
"Remember our past torment?"
We dive in with amusement
Text messages, a flurry
Memories slip and are blurry
Is there space for me?
Sure, we chat about tea
The "I" and "me"
Slip to "us" and "we"
Our passion ignited
So happy to be reunited
The good times begin
Let's accept the win
A friendship extended
Two hearts are now tended
Our souls in love, as far as we can see
Friendship forever, I think we can agree
