A Forest of Truths and Lies

If you don't believe in fantasy places,
Told by the world's people
Listen up and listen well,
For what I tell you now will change your thoughts.

I was in a forest,
Promised for Riches
Instead I find Hedges, tearing through my skin,
I realize I've been here, but then I grin
And I fight back the tears,
As I fight the years that go by
Just to find the same stairs again

I am still fighting and I am still sane,
The blood drains from my body
As everyone comes and goes,
I choose to close my Eyes

And to let it all fade....
Into a Forest Of Truths And Lies
