A Fool For Christ

on a packed subway train amid the morning rush hour crowd
I heard somebody talking in a voice so clear and loud
a woman was talking about the Lord Jesus Christ
and how he had given her a purpose in life
some people seemed uncomfortable, but i thought it was great
that she would be a fool for Christ shouting out about her faith
it's not an easy thing for anyone to stand before a crowd
to have so many eyes watching you as you speak out loud
it might feel like it's stage fright
you're just praying that the words come out right
to be a fool for Christ, to tell your testimony
to let the world know about God's generosity
i wish i had the guts to stand up shout and rave
that I'm a fool for Christ, I've been reborn and I'm saved
