A Fly On The Wall
A Fly on the Wall Poetry Contest
Suzette Richards
To climb the mountain of life,
as it turns into a volcano,
spewing lava, where the ashes
of infidelity stain the trails of love.
The trolley of blind faith untracked
by wild berries, forbidden fruit,
and loose ends-forever be unpardoned.
Yet the masquerades of love are consumed
by fire, nature's wrath, and whispers.
I wish I were a fly on the wall sooner.
