Thanks Mike I don't think people across the pond appreciated the humour in this one lol unless you know a kipper is a smoked fish the joke is lost - I too love kippers had amazing kipper pate at a friend's last week mmmm:-) hugs jan xx

To make tasty they are dried perhaps, i think. Here in our country in bangla it is called Hidal or Shtki. Beautiful fishy tale, bl

They are herrings which when smoked are called kippers - I don't know if they are dried but they are very tasty:-) hugs Jan xx

I had to do what Tim did, Google ... My father in-law use to smoke all sorts of fish, deer, elk, he was a wonderful cook. love the humor :) a 7 and thank you for the help I fixed it.
