A Fine and Private Place
The coldness turns your skins fine hue
From ivory stain to deep sea blue
While cold and lonely you do lie
As in your grave you do abide
And I would lay there if I could
With rotting flesh within the wood
Though all your hair clings to your skull
Yet still my flaming passion pulls
For yet this love between us lies
Even though our bodies should die
We long to reignite the flame
That in our lives drove us insane
To roll within the casket walls
To break the silence with our calls
To consummate our love at last
To feel our dead hearts beating fast
And you my bride for one sweet night
When the angels have taken flight
Leaving us to flicker so bright
For one brief moment our love is right
