A fight to stay alive
Hope is vanishing into thin air
It has been so long since you were well
I see your daily struggle to stay on this earth
I notice when your energy changes
I feel your pain and suffering
Every time you need the loo in emergency
My heart breaks every time your in pain
My chest caves in knowing who sick you are
It hurts every morning when you don’t sleep
I know your body is failing your mind
I see the fight you play with your mind
I how debilitating this all is
I am so frustrated with the care system
I am so angry and everyone and everything
The truth is I am dying inside
I feel the weight of the world crushing my soul
I can’t be happy until you are
Laughter doesn’t escape me anymore
Life without you isn’t life at all
If this doesn’t get better I won’t be here
I’m in a place to make that possible
I will be here everyday until you are not
Whether that be next week or 60 years
I won’t give up on you
Even if you give up on yourself
I could never blame you for that
