Dear Daver, you pulled me in with the first tanka and then had me laughing at the second one. The third one is far more somber and I can appreciate the inspiration you had. We all see those stone statues dwelling among living flowers. Quite ironic, eh? As for the last tanka, I wish I could have taken that journey with you. Miss you now that football season has ended. Hope you are doing well, my friend. Love, carolyn

Each of these tanka present some lovely imagery and poetry for thought Dave. I enjoyed each one and each feeling I received that took my mind on mini journeys. Thank you for brightening my day! 7

A fine plethora of Tanka's dear poet ! Vampires and irrate drivers; I dislike them both...ohhh I dislike them ! Daver, where I grew up...dueses were wild ! And you are so right(write), some how those iky white statues remind me of something dead, I duno why ! And who else could be more invigorated than the poet when it comes to our fiesty feathered friends adorning our blessed gardens ! Wonderful write sir ! Have a blessed weekend my poetic friend.....much love, james

Wonderful Tankas, the 1st all scare me :( 2nd I have known that feeling when sitting at a table of Texas hold'em, and I fold on just a lone A's. :( 3rd I see the statue as beautiful human creative work with a wonder of earth nature. :) 4th Nature at play very satisfying :) . Blessings and a 7
