A Father Without Equal
Can I talk to you for a minute
From a father I never heard a sentence
No father to say hey daughter what's up
No father to say keep your chin up
No father to say, baby girl he's not right for you
No father to say how do you do
No father to say I know what you like
No father to teach me wrong from right
And people can always say what they want
Women make wrong decisions in men and that's not a taunt
When you don't have a father in your life
You pick men just like them and their type
I looked for the father I never had
I was unhappy and always sad
sometimes when my father would come in town
We did not when know when he was around
Some men don't know how to be a good father and that's a shame
You grow up calling someone else dad and whose to blame
But all the time what I did not know was the other sequel
There's a father there without an equal
Just who could she be talking of
The heavenly father from up above
The father who loves you without conditions
You can call him father without permission
To him you can bare your troubles your all
And on him you can always call
So the next time you feel you don't have a father
Look up above there's never a bother
He will be there whenever you need
He's the only father the one indeed
