A Fantasy

If I were like the Plastic Man I read about
in the comic books when I was a child
I would s-t-r-e-t-c--h my arms and wrap them
around your neck and chest
and tie the rest of me in a bow
around your beautiful body...
so tight I'd snap in two and
you would feel the sting clear through
to your heart and use Elmer's Glue to
put me together.
