A Dreamland
This weekend I visited a dreamland, it was beautiful.
The trees smiled with red golden leaves while the mountains danced with the
cloudless blue sky.
I thought of you in a shower of leaves, in Autumn, in
the New England sunshine of summer, on a dock with a
sea surrounded by walls of colors.
I walked through a sea of freedom, reached the sun
and said to it , "Hi".
At night the stars dropped from the sky while I stood
at the dock, happy, real, and free.
I dreamt of being free forever, being engulfed in this
air of love, color, and freedom, being here with the
people I love, forever.
As I was about to return home I said: "Now I must go,
I shall return soon to this land of a million skies,
a million colors, and a million mountains.
I will be back to live again, to breathe again,
to be free, once again. Until that time comes I beg
you, please, dream of me and I shall of you, of the
endless drives to see endless lands, of endless
happiness. I will return for all who dream to be
free, to be wanted, to be able to walk through
hills of happiness."
Until than I shall forever dream of a place.
I will think of that last night I stood at the shore
looking at the endless sky of lights and thought, now
their is a hope, a chance, a glance at freedom.
