A Dream

The years have gone;
we’re old people now.
Many of our friends and relatives
have passed away.

The world around us has changed.
You and I are still the same old souls.
We are sitting on the porch of our cottage,
watching the warm sea wind
playing with the sand.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Lovely thoughts, and happily still together. Till death us do part - the unimaginable reality . Nicely written.
