A Diverse Crowd

The righteous make good martyrs To hang upon the cross The wicked use their hatred To prey on others loss The meek look up to Heaven And pray upon their knees The wealthy use their power To do just what they please The gullible asks no questions And believe everything that's said Intellectuals see their folly And sadly shake their head Too many shout in anger But never hear the call I just sit in silence And wonder about you all
