A Dispatch To Bus Drivers
All drivers of buses, you must be aware
of bicyclists who sometimes speed past
so quickly you don’t even know they are there.
Whatever you do, you must not drive fast.
Pedestrians sometimes come onto the street
when they ought not. It could mean tragedy.
Be careful so that your bus does not meet
with the body of someone you just didn’t see.
Have vigilance always, not just for each child
for whom you are driving, but for everyone
you meet on your route. This warning’s not mild!
Regard each soul as your own daughter or son.
