A Different Jack

Know this sounds a bit unusual For the Jester of P-Soup fame But lately on the scale of one to ten Each day's gone down in flames It happens every once in a while No reason to have the blues Maybe it's just a stretch of bad weather Or maybe the six o'clock news News could be the real culprit It constantly talks about war Tired of hearing the same old stuff Fed up to the very core Even the stuff on the science channels Predicts the end as we know it As well as the threat of nuclear war Tired of it, don't give a sh-t Whatever will be, will be, my friends What can one person do Seventy-nine and had a good life Pray our kids will make it through © Jack Ellison 2014

Oh my friend Jack. Just be blue. No need to beat it. We cannot do or feel anything that God does not want us to experience. So ... You know how to surf, don't you? The wave lol

we're all entitled to a bout of the blues from time to time and it's great that you're able to express that in rhyme. hope you're feeling more up soon...

Don't worry. God won't end the world when he's got Dragon around to play with us! Your poems have been Va- Va- Room, Off the charts good! Take it from me, It's not what you read that counts. It's what you read into it. LOL. Boy am I on a roll today! We'll probably never meet. I just don't travel, except to the internet, and McDonnells, and to chase those silly pigeons who are sucking down my bird seed like vacuum cleaners. Dragon brought them back from the park. Penguins AND pigeons! Honestly!
