On reading the last verse, i feel the heaviness of the diamonds in her eyes. A beautiful image through and through! I see why you won!

I really do like this form, and spent more time studying it than the others I think, and still think it's one of the harder forms to write. Great work, and as always, I'm sure you don't need luck for the contest, but I wish the best and you should do well.

Probably the best Haiku I've ever read. It's also a very passionate, deep and caring write, tinged with melancholy in nostalgic hue.
